“Almenwelt Lofer” hiking region
Once a day, you can use the Loferer Almbahn lift – to get to the “Almenwelt Lofer”, where there are numerous hiking trails to explore the natural surroundings, climb peaks and then have a tasty snack in one of the alpine huts! For families, we recommend the adventure trail “Auf der Alm” – a highlight for all ages!

Vorderkaserklamm gorge
The Vorderkaserklamm gorge is located between St. Martin and Weißbach this impressive ravine was created about 14,000 years ago! View the Vorderkaserklamm gorge, also from the beautiful Orchideenweg trail! The idyllic Vorderkaser natural bathing area offers a cooling dip.

Seisenbergklamm gorge
The Seisenbergklamm gorge is also located in Weißbach and was created at the end of the last ice age. Once upon a time the imposing natural monument was used as a road for wood cutters, and today you can view the Seisenbergklamm gorge on the well-developed trails! With the “Klammgeist” mascot and its educational stations, even the little ones will be excited!

Lamprechtshöhle Cave
The Lamprechtshöhle in St. Martin in Lofer is one of the longest through caves in the world! You can view the cave with its sensational total length of 56 km with a cave guide on well-accessible rising steps. A visit that will inspire children and adults alike.

The outdoor pool in Lofer guarantees not only refreshment, but also a fantastic panoramic view of the Lofer mountains! Relax on the large sunbathing lawn or take a dip in the ice-cold Mühlbach river. Your kids can play on the playground or in the kiddie pool while you relax, or play beach volleyball and table tennis with their friends.

Explore the entire Pinzgau region for free with the public regional busses, the Pinzgau local trains and the Austrian national railways (ÖBB) between Lend and Leogang. And the bus trip with line 260 to the festival and Mozart city of Salzburg is free in the summer with your Salzburger Saalachtal Card.
